The disc collects the Blazing Horns LP (Sides A + B, released in 1979) and Tenor In Roots (Sides C + D, released 1977 as a white label pressing only). Also included here: track B5 is a b-side version from a Patrick Andy 12, and a Bunny Lee-produced 12 cut (Riding West, track C1). Track A1 is expanded from the original LP version with the second/extended portion pulled from a 1979 7 45 release b-side, where it was titled No Water.
The original Blazing Horns LP and the two 12s mentioned above were all released on the Grove Music label.
