Musician from the Manchester area. Spurr was born in Bury and grew up in Ramsbottom. He began playing guitar at age 11 and played in bands including En-Tito, Hobo Chang, and Motherjohn before joining The Fall on bass in 2006. After Mark E. Smith died in 2018, Spurr and other Fall members formed the band Imperial Wax. Spurr left Imperial Wax in 2019.
