Clairo, born Claire Elizabeth Cottrill on August 18, 1998, is an American singer-songwriter from Atlanta, raised in Carlisle, Massachusetts.

She gained popularity with the viral success of her song Pretty Girl in 2017. Clairo signed a record deal and released her debut EP Diary 001 in 2018. Her first studio album Immunity (2019) produced hit singles Bags and Sofia, the latter marking her first Billboard Hot 100 chart entry.

Following the success of her second album Sling in 2021, Clairo released her third album, Charm, on July 12, 2024, independently.
