US mastering and lacquer cutting engineer.

Benny started his career in 1975 with Dominion Records (8), producing, selling, and promoting a syndicated broadcast, Hank Williams and the Drifting Cowboys.
He then started his mastering career at Nashville Record Productions.
He became chief mastering engineer and general manager of The Lacquer Place in 1979.
In 1983, he moved to Masterfonics, where he was engineering and producing for 24 years.
In 2006 he then started Benny Quinn Mastering.
His runout scribes are either
- BQ, or
- a stylized Roman numeral ꞮꞮꞮ, appearing as CM (m within capital C), or as JM. Please use III in the runout string and for the credit, Lacquer Cut By [Roman Numeral III] - Benny Quinn (see e.g.,here).
