British rock organist and pianist, born: 6 February 1948 in Paignton, Devon, UK. Died August 4, 2023.

Probably best known for his work as member of British rock group The Kinks from 1970-1978.
Later became a founding member of The Kast-Off Kinks.
Retired in 2008.

Should not be confused with industrial musician and producer John Gosling.
