American curator, professor and art writer. He co-founded first [l328560] and shortly after [l276275] in 1989 as non-profit organisation to promote diversity through equal access to healthcare through pop culture. Together with his friend Leigh Blake, he did this, after he saw numerous friends from the art scene dying from AIDS in the 1980's.
